Developer Triverske Reveals Circuit Breakers Influences, Gameplay Details and Much More
Since we have announced Circuit Breakers for the Xbox One and PS4, a lot of you have made your excitement heard! From the hectic twin-stick shooter gameplay, to the rocking music, it’s obvious that you are all passionate about Circuit Breakers.
And that’s why we wanted to give you an inside look into the development of Circuit Breakers for Xbox One and PS4! Sit back, relax and watch our exclusive video interview with developer Triverske below, as sitting back and relaxing is certainly not something you’ll be able to do come early next year, when you get your hands on the game for yourself!
If you've been keeping an eye on the official Xbox YouTube channel or blog, you may have seen that Circuit Breakers is coming to consoles in early 2017.
After releasing to a passionate fan-base on Steam last year, we're incredibly excited to be bringing Circuit Breakers to the Xbox One and the PS4. If you haven't played the game, it's a fun, easy to pick up, 'just one more go' sort of game.
The game's design is inspired by retro arcade machines - in Circuit Breakers, you survive as long as you can, and then you're reset to the beginning. That said, the game randomly pools from a huge selection of levels, so you won't be blasting through the same environments over and over.
Selecting from a plethora of characters and weapons, you'll be able to blast more robots than you can count with your friends. In the ultimate couch co-op experience, the Xbox One version of Circuit Breakers accommodates for up to six player local co-op across all of the game's modes. That's right! Circuit Breakers is one of the only current generation console games to accommodate for up to six-player local multiplayer.
While I'd absolutely encourage getting a group of friends together to play Circuit Breakers with six players, it's also perfectly valid to play the game by yourself or just with a few less players. The game re-balances itself based on the amount of players present, so you won't be faced by an impossible challenge... hopefully.
We cannot wait to share Circuit Breakers with all of you console players early next year. For updates, follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
